In the 14th century, European tailoring underwent a revolution: garments became closely fitted to the body, fastened together using dense rows of eyelets. To allow cords to thread smoothly through fabric or leather holes without fraying at the ends, they were fitted with metal cones. This particular model consists of a rolled brass tube capped with a solid cone, whose weight and tapered profile help guide cords seamlessly through tight lacing eyelets while adding a prominent decorative flair.
This product is crafted from sheet brass rolled into a tube and fitted with a solid soldered conical tip.
