Masterful Craftsmanship of Damascus and Wood
The main advantage of this axe is its blade. Damascus steel is created by folding and forging two types of steel with different properties multiple times, resulting in a material that is both tough and hard. The axe head is also decorated with a brass inlay featuring a trinity symbol. The shape of the head with an extended beard (so-called bearded axe style) allows for finer carving work when gripping close to the head.
The handle is made of quality hardwood with a distinct grain. It is ergonomically shaped to fit perfectly in the hand and prevent slipping during work. In the middle of the handle, you will find a decorative mosaic pin, which underscores the luxurious character of the tool. A brass eyelet for threading a lanyard is also present at the end of the handle.
Accessories and Care
With the axe, you receive a precisely stitched cowhide sheath in brown, reinforced with rivets and contrast stitching. The sheath covers the edge and can be easily attached to a belt thanks to a loop system with snap fasteners.
Maintenance Note: Damascus steel, like most carbon steels, is not stainless. To prevent the pattern on the blade from disappearing under a layer of rust, always store the axe in a dry place and treat the blade with preservation oil (e.g., WD-40 or gun oil) after use.
