At first glance, you will be captivated by the fact that not only the blade but also the front bolster is made of Damascus steel. This creates a beautiful visual effect and a smooth transition between metal and wood. The 55 mm (2.17 inches) blade is ideal for small tasks – opening letters, slicing fruit, or cutting string.

The blade material consists of sandwich steel with 39 layers. The core is made of high-quality 440C stainless steel, ensuring hardness and edge retention. On the sides, this core is protected by a cladding of Damascus steel, creating the characteristic marbled pattern. The scales are made of selected burl wood, attached to the knife body with Torx screws.

Care for Your Damascus Knife

Although this knife is made of stainless materials, it deserves your care. Never wash it in a dishwasher! Hot water and aggressive chemicals would irreversibly damage the wooden handle and could also affect the pattern on the steel. After use, wipe the knife with a damp cloth and dry it immediately. Occasionally treat the wooden scales with a little linseed oil or wood wax to prevent them from drying out and to maintain their rich colour. You can lubricate the blade pivot once in a while with a drop of gun oil for smooth operation.

Please bear in mind that this is a small pocket knife intended for light work. Do not use it for prying, throwing, or chopping into hard materials. The blade is very sharp, so exercise increased caution when handling.
