Pouch with the Celtic staff
This pleated belt pouch was common in the area of southern Wales at the time when the legend about king Arthur came into existence, i.e. in about the 5th century. The bag has the form of a pouch. The closing is secured via a decorative staff. The front part with the flap is made of up to 2.5mm thick cowhide. The pleated sides of the pouch are made of up to 1.8mm thick soft leather. The pouch with the Celtic staff is worn suspended from the belt via a loop. The maximum recommended belt's width is 8cm. Besides the colour shown in the picture the bag is available in other colours: see the choice of colour.
