This pleated belt pouch as another one of possible versions was common mainly in the area of southern Wales in about the 5th century. The bag has the form of a pouch. The flap is made of up to 2.5 mm thick cowhide. Another decorative accessory is a flap decorated up to the half with a woven basket. The pleated sides of the pouch are made of up to 1.8 mm thick soft leather. The closing is secured via a decorative Celtic staff.
The decorated pouch with the Celtic staff is worn suspended from the belt via a loop. The maximum recommended belt's width is 8 cm. Besides the colour shown in the picture the bag is available in other colours: see the choice of colour.
Please note: This product is made by hand from genuine leather. This is a purely natural material. Minor differences in the colour and surface texture are its natural characteristics. These small imperfections do not decrease the value of the product. Each piece is to some extent an original.
