Medieval War Sword "Sybot" | 13th-14th Century
Designed for Easy Maintenance
The blade is hand-forged from carbon steel and features a distinct central fuller. A practical feature you will appreciate is the assembly method. The blade tang passes through the entire handle and is secured at the end of the massive pommel with a double-screwed connection. This is a huge advantage—if the crossguard loosens due to vibration, you can easily disassemble the sword, clean it, and retighten it with a wrench, without needing a smith to peen the tang.
The grip is wrapped in black leather for a secure hold. The simple steel crossguard and wheel pommel give the sword a classic, austere look that suits almost any costume from the Crusades or the Hundred Years' War era.

Care Instructions
Since the blade is made of carbon steel, it is not stainless. Moisture and sweat are its enemies. Wipe the sword with a dry cloth after every touch or use and apply a thin layer of preservation oil (e.g., WD-40 or gun oil). Thanks to the screwed pommel, maintenance is simple even in hard-to-reach places.
