John Lee Musashi Ichi Tanto – Tribute to the Legend
Design and Functionality
The dominant feature of this tanto is the characteristic "double ring" (double ellipse) tsuba, a design directly attributed to Musashi. The blade is hand-forged from 1045 carbon steel and hardened in an oil bath to approximately 52 HRC. To reduce weight and improve balance, the blade features a groove (bo-hi). The edge is sharp, and the hamon line is created by a cross-polish for an authentic look.
The handle (tsuka) honors tradition – it is made of wood, covered with genuine ray skin (Same), and tightly wrapped with black cotton ribbon in a classic style. The glossy black lacquered wooden scabbard (saya) perfectly complements the sober elegance of the weapon.

Collector's Box Contents
As with all John Lee swords, emphasis is placed on presentation. You will receive the Tanto in a valuable collector's wooden box covered in fabric with a dragon motif. The package also includes a protective cloth bag for the sword and a certificate of authenticity with a seal.
A table stand would be a perfect addition to this tanto, allowing its unique tsuba to be admired daily.
