At first glance, you will be captivated by the massive and intricately shaped crossguard. It is stylised in the form of a demonic skull with horns and claws that seem to grip the blade. The blade itself is made of 420 stainless steel, polished to a high shine, and decorated near the hilt (ricasso) with etchings resembling magical runes or infernal symbols. The grip is long enough for a two-handed hold (hand-and-a-half or bastard sword style) and ends in a sharp, conical pommel that looks like a skull crusher—though only in your imagination.

It is essential to emphasise that this sword is strictly a decorative item.

• Material: The blade is made of stainless steel. This material is great for maintenance (it does not rust), but it is brittle. It is not flexible like the high-carbon steel used for real functional swords.
• Usage: Never swing the sword at objects or fence with another weapon. Upon impact, the blade could snap, or the decorative guard made of metal alloy and polyresin could shatter. There is a risk of serious injury.
• Installation: The sword comes with a wooden plaque for secure mounting. Ensure you attach the plaque firmly to the wall (choose rawlplugs and screws suitable for your wall type).

Maintenance

Since the blade is stainless, there is no need for frequent oiling. Simply wipe it occasionally with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. Treat the wooden plaque with standard furniture polish.
