We strongly recommend that you carefully study the cleaning and maintenance instructions. It is best to wash hoods made of both genuine and artificial velvet carefully by hand in lukewarm water with a mild detergent, or entrust them to a professional dry cleaner. Never dry the hood in a tumble dryer or in direct sunlight, so the fabric does not fade and lose its texture. Ironing is only possible from the reverse side at a very low temperature. We warn you against moving in close proximity to an open flame – genuine cotton velvet, in particular, is a highly flammable material.
