The hilt is ergonomically shaped and wrapped in a high-quality synthetic material in an elegant burgundy colour, ensuring a stable grip even with sweaty gloves. The assembly features a hex screw in the pommel, allowing for easy tension checks or component replacement.

The "Quick Silver" is inspired by the light dueling and practice sabers of the late 19th century, when saber fencing evolved under the influence of Italian masters such as Ferdinando Masiello. Safety and Maintenance

Despite its light weight, the Quick Silver is a full-fledged steel weapon. The flex of approximately 5 kg (11 lb) is calibrated for safe thrusting; however, always adhere to the following principles:

• Protective Gear: A fencing mask (1600N), fencing jacket, and quality gloves are mandatory during sparring.
• Blade Inspection: The slim profile requires regular checks. Immediately smooth out any burrs or notches resulting from blade contact using a fine file.
• Storage: Spring steel reacts to moisture. After every session, wipe the blade dry and apply a thin film of mineral oil (e.g., Ballistol or 3-in-1 oil).
• Disclaimer: This weapon is not intended for contact combat without adequate HEMA gear. Never use the weapon if the safety (spatulated) tip is damaged.
