The blade is forged from 65Mn Spring Steel, heat-treated to ensure excellent flexibility and impact resistance. The geometry features a distal taper, thinning towards the tip to improve handling dynamics. The grip features classic "knife" construction: a full tang sandwiched between two solid wood scales, secured firmly by three brass rivets.
The crossguard includes the essential "Nagel" (nail), a side-ring protector crucial for the winding techniques found in the German tradition of fencing. The ensemble is completed by a dark leather scabbard adorned with decorative cross-stitching and metal cross fittings, adding a touch of gothic aesthetic.
