History of Materials and Everyday Use
The concept of modern, miniaturised EDC knives developed hand in hand with the need to carry an unobtrusive, legally compliant, and lightweight tool in an urban environment. G10 composite, made of fiberglass layers soaked in epoxy resin, was originally developed for the aerospace industry. Today, due to its extreme resistance to moisture, temperature fluctuations, and mechanical damage, it has become the absolute standard for high-quality knives. This specific model is fitted with a Sheepfoot blade, which offers excellent control when cutting with the tip. The straight edge minimises the risk of accidentally piercing the material being cut. The knife is very easily deployed with the thumb through the hole in the blade and is firmly secured in the open position by a reliable Linerlock mechanism. At the end of the handle, there is an integrated lanyard hole, to which you can attach a decorative cord for easier extraction from a deep pocket.

Proper Care and Maintenance
Although 440B stainless steel is known for its high corrosion resistance and the G10 composite is practically maintenance-free, proper care will extend the life of your knife. After use in an aggressive environment (for example, when cutting fruit or after getting wet), it is recommended to rinse the blade and wipe it dry. Special attention should be paid to the area around the pivot – to maintain the smooth and lightning-fast action of the ball bearings, it is advisable to occasionally blow out the mechanism with compressed air and apply a drop of high-quality gun or silicone oil.
Safety Warnings
Please be aware that this pocket knife is supplied with a very sharp blade and serves exclusively as a working tool. It is definitely not a weapon intended for historical HEMA fencing, martial arts, cutting tests, or LARP battles. Exercise extreme caution when handling it to prevent cut injuries. Before each use, check that the Linerlock has fully engaged and secures the blade. When closing the tool, always keep your fingers out of the blade's path. The knife must be kept out of the hands of children and should never be used as a pry bar, chisel, or screwdriver.
