Appearance and Inspiration

The Soulrend Voulge head (50 cm) is crafted from high-quality PUR foam and boasts a rough, dark metallic look. Its design draws from the historical voulge weapon, a polearm with a cleaver-like blade popular with infantry from the 14th to 16th centuries. However, this specific model has been given a strong dark fantasy twist, underscored by the name "Soulrend". The dominant, forward-curving blade is complemented by a smaller hook or spike on the back. The point where it connects to the shaft features a brownish detail imitating a wrap. The shaft itself has the appearance of dark wood, and the lower end is fitted with a metallic-looking butt cap for better balance.

Modular System – Customise Your Weapon

This voulge utilises the same proven modular system as other Dreki Megin polearms. The core is the 50 cm long Soulrend Voulge head (D705), which screws onto the upper pole section. To this, you attach the upper pole section (D700-U90), 92 cm long (including a 2 cm screw section), and the lower pole section in the length of your choice:

As with other Dreki Megin modular weapons, you can also purchase additional compatible heads and use them with the same set of poles. This saves money and gives you greater armament versatility.

Construction, Safety, and Materials

• Head: Made from durable and safe polyurethane (PUR) foam. It has a thinner internal fibreglass core for stability and safety features to minimise impact pain (including a safe tip and more flexible parts of the blade). Length 50 cm, weight 310 g.
• Upper Pole Section: PUR foam surface imitating wood, core made from a lightweight and strong hollow carbon fibre rod. Length 92 cm, handle circumference 11 cm, weight 470 g.
• Lower Pole Sections: PUR foam surface, core made from a durable hollow fibreglass rod with a tapered internal structure. Handle circumference 11 cm. Includes an integrated counterweight (150 g, 250 g, or 350 g) for excellent handling and balance.
• Connections: Reliable screw connection using high-quality 304 stainless steel screws.
