The Stormthorn spearhead is crafted from durable, high-density polyurethane and features a security flex tip to minimise impact energy during thrusts. The core consists of a specialised fiberglass rod—thinner at the tip for safety and thicker with a tapered internal structure in the pole for superior balance and handling. Every connection is secured with 304 stainless steel screws, ensuring the weapon remains rock-solid during the heat of combat without loosening.

The Stormthorn system allows for three different total lengths by choosing between different lower pole segments.

Maintenance and Safety Guidelines

To ensure your Stormthorn Spear lasts for many seasons, please follow these care instructions:

• Wipe the polyurethane head with a damp cloth after each event to remove dirt and dust.
• Keep the stainless steel threads clean. A small drop of silicone oil on the threads can ensure smooth assembly.
• Never store the spear resting on its tip, as this can cause the foam to permanently bend. Store it flat or disassembled.
• Avoid exposing the weapon to extreme heat (such as a hot car interior), which can damage the material integrity.
• This product is designed purely for LARP and simulated combat. Do not strike it against hard objects like trees or stone walls, as this may fracture the internal fiberglass core.
