Usage and Installation
This hook is designed for versatile use. Thanks to its robustness, you can hang without worry:

Installation is very simple. There is a mounting hole in the centre of the hanger. All you need is one suitable screw or a stylish nail to fix the hook to a wall, beam, or door. We recommend using a screw with a black finish or a forged nail to maintain the overall historical impression.

History and Blacksmithing
Iron hooks and hangers have accompanied humanity since the Iron Age. While in antiquity they were mostly simple functional objects, during the Gothic and Renaissance periods, blacksmiths began to focus more on aesthetics. Maintenance and Safety
The product is treated with a lacquer that protects it from normal indoor moisture. However, we recommend:
- Keep the hook dry. When installed in extremely humid environments (cellars, outdoor areas), natural corrosion may occur over time, which, however, adds a nice patina.
- Occasionally wipe it with a cloth and a drop of metal oil to preserve the deep shine.
Safety Warning: The hook has an authentic forged finish. Exercise caution when handling it to avoid scratching the wall or injury on the sharper edges of the leaf. The hook is not intended for hanging items heavier than 5 kg (11 lbs) unless it is anchored into solid material.
