Instructions for Use and Proper Care

To ensure this horn serves you reliably and for a long time, it requires specific care. The interior of the horn is treated with a food-safe resin varnish. Beverages such as beer, mead, wine, water, and non-acidic soft drinks are highly suitable to be served in it. However, hot beverages and liquids with an alcohol content above 20% are completely unsuitable. Please note that the product would be irreversibly damaged and ruined if you washed it in a dishwasher or heated it in a microwave oven. Before the very first use, wash the vessel thoroughly by hand under running lukewarm water. Furthermore, always wash the horn only by hand using lukewarm water and a drop of mild dish soap. Since it is a natural material that may crack over time, we strongly recommend lightly treating its outer surface with beeswax after every use.
