Please remember, however, that although this is a very high-quality tool, it remains a pocket folding knife designed for ordinary daily tasks (such as slicing food, opening parcels, or light whittling). Under no circumstances should you use it as a pry bar or chisel, and you should definitely never attempt to throw it. The lock and pivot pin are not engineered to withstand such extreme lateral stress.

How to Care for Knives Made with Natural Materials

Because the handle is fitted with genuine stag horn scales, the knife requires some basic care to ensure it serves you well for generations. Never expose natural horn to prolonged extreme heat (e.g., drying it on a radiator) or excessive moisture, as it could crack. The knife absolutely does not belong in a dishwasher! If it gets dirty, simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth and dry it thoroughly. Both the blade and the locking mechanism will benefit from being occasionally treated with a thin layer of high-quality gun oil or fine vegetable oil.
