Construction and Design
This arm armour boasts a functional and proven design with a polished steel finish. It consists of several parts that together form a complete protection system:
- Rerebrace (Upper Arm): Covers the upper part of the arm.
- Articulated Couter (Elbow): Overlapping plates (lames) allow for a full and natural range of motion.
- Vambrace (Forearm): Two hinged plates protect both the outer and inner forearm.
The individual segments are solidly riveted to each other and to internal leather straps, which enhances wearing comfort and overall durability. The edges of the plates are carefully rolled for the safety of both you and your opponents.

How to Wear and Attach the Armour

The upper section (rerebrace) is equipped with leather laces for tying ("pointing") it to your gambeson or arming doublet. This ensures that the armour stays firmly in place and does not slip down, even during intense movement.

How to Care for Your Armour
To ensure your plate arms last a long time and do not rust, regular maintenance is essential.
Steel Care
After each use, thoroughly dry the armour with a soft cloth to remove sweat and moisture. Store it in a dry, ventilated area. Regularly treat the entire steel surface with a thin layer of conservation oil (e.g., WD-40, Ballistol, or another gun oil) and wipe off any excess.
Leather Care
Treat the leather straps and bands from time to time with a leather care product (wax or balm) to keep them supple and prevent them from drying out and cracking.
