Honest Craftsmanship and Quality Materials
The pauldron is handcrafted from genuine buffalo leather, which is ethically sourced. This material stands out for its strength and durability while retaining enough flexibility for comfortable wear. The construction consists of two connected leather plates (lames) riveted together with solid pure brass rivets. This ensures that the guard will withstand the rigours of the battlefield and repeated wear at festivals.
Easy Attachment and Adjustment
The guard is secured using two leather straps, ensuring it stays firmly in place even during active movement:
- Chest Strap: A long adjustable strap with a buckle goes across the chest and under the opposite arm.
- Arm Strap: A smaller strap (or lacing) fixes the lower part of the pauldron to the bicep.

Leather Armour Care
To keep the leather supple and beautiful for as long as possible, we recommend treating it regularly with leather balm or beeswax. Store it in a dry place, and if it gets wet, let it dry naturally at room temperature (never near a direct heat source).
