How to Properly Care for Your New Knife

Although the blade is made of stainless steel, we recommend keeping the tool clean and dry. Under no circumstances should you wash the knife in a dishwasher. Harsh detergents and high temperatures would irreversibly damage the natural olive wood and compromise the knife's mechanics. After use, simply wipe the blade with a damp cloth and dry it thoroughly. The olive wood will appreciate being lightly rubbed with a drop of linseed or sunflower oil occasionally; this prevents it from drying out and revives its natural texture. To ensure the folding mechanism operates smoothly, apply a drop of high-quality gun or knife oil directly into the pivot joint from time to time.
