Preparation, Maintenance, and Safety
The Kraken is a high-performance machine and requires proper care. Always keep the string and flight track lubricated with wax and rail lube every 5–10 shots to prevent wear and friction heat. Use the provided cocking rope to ensure a symmetrical draw, which is critical for accuracy. Never attempt to dry fire the crossbow; even with the anti-dryfire system, a release without a bolt can cause catastrophic damage to the limbs and injury to the shooter. Regularly check all screws and bolts, as high vibrations can loosen them over time.
Fun Fact: The CNC-machined cams are the "engine" of the Kraken. Unlike cast pulleys, these are carved from solid blocks of metal, offering superior precision, better energy transfer, and a smoother shot cycle.
Recommended Bolts
