How to Use and Sight-In Your Scope

After correctly mounting the scope on your crossbow's rail, you need to 'sight it in' or 'zero' it. This means adjusting the reticle so that your point of impact matches your point of aim at a specific distance (e.g., 20 yards). This is done using the adjustment turrets – one for windage (side-to-side) and one for elevation (up-and-down). The process involves shooting at a target and making gradual 'click-by-click' adjustments until the desired accuracy is achieved. Always shoot in a safe location with a suitable and safe backstop behind the target.

Caring for Your Optics

The lenses are the key to your scope's performance. Keep them clean. First, remove any loose dust and dirt with a blower bulb or a very soft brush. Remove fingerprints and smudges using the included microfiber cloth, which can be lightly dampened with a special optics cleaning solution. Never use coarse fabrics like a t-shirt or paper towels, as they can scratch the anti-reflective coatings. Always keep the protective lens caps on when the scope is not in use.
