The picture used to show what the bevor will look like is of Emperor Maximilian I's sallet (1459–1519) and there is a secondary pin at temple of this historical sallet that allows the bevor to swing forward to remove the helmet because the bevor IS connected to the sallet. The bevor is connected using the same rivet as the front face plate of the sallet. The description says it is NOT connected which is in conflict with the picture used.
