This helmet is an excellent replica of an officers helmet of the cuirassier regiment von Sydlitz Nr. 7 from 1867. The original was worn by Otto von Bismarck, who was named honorary General of this regiment by the Prussian king. The original was donated to the German Historical Museum in 1909.
