Luxury Falcata "Alexander the Great" – Limited Edition

The Jewel of Your Collection

This sword is designed as a luxury centrepiece for your interior. Included in the package is an elegant wooden plaque featuring the series' graphic motif, allowing you to display the sword on your wall immediately. Thanks to its weight and precise balance, it feels powerful in the hand, but its place is on the wall, where you can admire the detailed gold ornaments on the blade and the elaborate pommel. The lion's head at the end of the handle references the myth of Heracles, whom Alexander considered his ancestor.

Historical Context: The Conqueror's Weapon

Alexander the Great (356–323 BC) built one of the largest empires in history. Although often depicted with a straight sword, the Falcata (or Greek Kopis) was a feared weapon in the Iberian Peninsula and the Mediterranean at that time due to its ability to deliver crushing chopping blows that could penetrate shields and helmets. The curved blade transferred energy much like an axe. This sword is an artistic interpretation of Alexander's power and the wealth of the Persian Empire he conquered.

Care and Maintenance

The sword is made of stainless steel and precious materials, so it requires gentle handling. Remove dust only with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid using water, metal polishes, or chemicals, as they could irreparably damage the gold plating (24K) and etched patterns. The sword should be stored in a dry environment with a constant temperature.

Important Safety Warning

Please bear in mind that this is strictly a decorative art object. The stainless steel blade is hardened but brittle and is not constructed to withstand impact. Any attempt at fencing, chopping, or combat practice will result in damage to the sword (blade breakage, loosening of decorations) and carries a risk of injury. The edge is not sharpened, but the point can be sharp, so please exercise caution when handling.

I recommend placing this sword in a prominent spot in your living room or study, where its golden embellishments will stand out best.
