The foundation of this knife is a blade made of 440A stainless steel. This steel is popular among users for its high resistance to corrosion and ease of sharpening. To give the knife a unique matte look and increased surface durability, the blade features a grey titanium coating. The Spear Point blade shape is very versatile, and thanks to the false edge on the spine, it has a dynamic yet elegant appearance.
What will catch your eye at first glance is the handle. Its metal body has the same titanium finish as the blade, creating a unified and clean design. Inset into this modern frame is a scale of genuine olive wood. Olive wood has been prized since antiquity for its hardness, durability, and above all for its beautiful, distinctive grain, which makes every single knife an unmistakable original. Caring for a Knife with a Wooden Handle
To ensure the olive wood retains its beauty and the knife its functionality, a few principles must be followed. Never wash the knife in a dishwasher! Hot water and aggressive salts would dry out the wood, cause cracking, and destroy its grain. After use, wipe the knife with a damp cloth and dry it immediately. I recommend treating the wooden inlay occasionally with special wood oil or ordinary olive oil to prevent it from drying out and to highlight its structure. Keep the blade sharp using a fine whetstone or honing steel, and lubricate the moving parts occasionally with a drop of oil.
