Caring for Stainless Steel and Exotic Wood

Although the blade is made of stainless steel, we recommend keeping the tool clean and dry. Under no circumstances should you wash the knife in a dishwasher! Harsh chemicals and high temperatures would irreversibly damage the natural wood and disrupt the mechanics of the pivot joint. After use, simply wipe the blade with a damp cloth and dry it thoroughly. The padouk wood will appreciate an occasional light rub with a drop of linseed or sunflower oil. This prevents it from drying out and beautifully revives its rich colour. To ensure the folding mechanism operates perfectly smoothly, apply a small amount of high-quality knife oil directly into the blade pivot from time to time.
