Templar Cloak with Cross and Hood – Cotton Crusader Mantle
Symbol of Faith and Brotherhood
The mantle (habit) was a sacred garment for Templars, required wear for all official occasions. The white version was reserved for the full knights of the order, symbolizing purity and resolve. The black (or brown) version with the red cross belonged to sergeants and non-noble serving brothers. This model features a spacious hood to protect your head from inclement weather or prying eyes.
Material and Craftsmanship
The cloak is sewn from sturdy cotton canvas (100% cotton), which has a coarser texture resembling historical fabrics. It is heavy enough to drape beautifully and provide warmth, yet remains breathable. On the left chest, a characteristic red velvet cross pattée is sewn on, giving the cloak a luxurious look. Fastening at the neck is secured by two sturdy cords that you can tie into a knot or bow.
