Construction and Materials
The 350 mm (13.8 in) blade is made of tough 420 stainless steel. At its widest point, it reaches a thickness of up to 6.5 mm, ensuring it won't break easily during chopping. The Tanto tip is also extremely durable for piercing hard materials. The handle is made of non-slip rubber, which absorbs shock during chopping and ensures a secure grip even with gloves or in wet conditions. A massive lanyard hole is located at the end of the handle.
Tactical Sheath
The package includes a sturdy black nylon sheath designed as a drop-leg rig. It features:
- A belt loop with double snap button security.
- Two adjustable Velcro straps for fastening around the thigh (max. circumference approx. 55 cm / 21.6 in).
- This system ensures the machete stays firmly on your leg and doesn't flop around while running.
