A Miniature Legend: Flame of the West
The dagger faithfully copies the design of the famous sword from the movies.
- Design: The blade features a distinct central ridge and a false edge. The crossguard is elongated and elegantly curved towards the blade. The black handle is swelled in the middle for a better grip.
- Pommel: The iconic "open pommel" is a typical feature of this sword style and is made here from zinc alloy.
- Scabbard: A black scabbard made of synthetic material is included, decorated with a silver-coloured metal throat and chape, matching the dagger's hilt fittings.
Usage and Safety
It is important to emphasise that this dagger is a decorative item.
- Material: The blade is made of 420 Stainless Steel. This material is excellent because it does not rust and is maintenance-free, but it is more brittle than high-carbon steel.
- Warning: The dagger is not intended for throwing, prying, or contact fencing. The blade edge thickness is approx. 0.9 mm, meaning it is not razor-sharp, but the point may be sharp. Please handle with care.
Care Instructions
Thanks to the use of stainless steel and synthetic materials, maintenance is very easy. Simply polish the blade occasionally with a dry cloth to keep it shiny and free of fingerprints. Avoid dropping the dagger on hard surfaces, as the zinc alloy fittings could be damaged.
