This sword is made with blades made of different steels. The differences between them follow:
- stainless steel is softer * high carbon steel 1085 is oil-quenched to approx. 48-52 HRC after Rockwell
- stainless steel is just for decoration * carbon steel is functional (can be used for practical cutting softer materials)
- stainless steel goes not rusty in damp environment * carbon steel does

I have just received my Conan father's sword(Marto version)! I give five stars up there - it deserves it. Beautiful sword and shipped super fast, I didn't get a certificate with my sword but that has nothing to do with Outfit4events and I don't wish to ship the item back for an exchange so I can live without. But overall I have a love for this shop site and can't wait to order again!
