Oriental Scimitar (Cimitarra) with Etched Blade
Details Inspired by the East
The dominant feature of the sabre is the wide blade, which widens towards the tip, typical of oriental slashing weapons. The blade surface features decorative etched ornaments and the prominent inscription "CIMITARRA". The handle is metal with a texture resembling wire wrapping, ensuring an aesthetic look. The pommel ends in the shape of a crescent moon, a symbol typical of the Islamic world and oriental culture. The guard is S-curved and decorated with fine reliefs.
Construction and Warning
The blade is made of hardened carbon steel, adding to its authenticity. However, the hilt construction utilizes a screwed connection at the end of the handle (the tang passes through the handle and is tightened by a nut in the pommel). This solution is not rated for impact. The sabre is intended for decoration only! It is not suitable for fencing, chopping, or practicing techniques, as the blade could loosen and cause injury.
