Built to Last
This dagger is designed with durability in mind. The hand-forged carbon steel blade features a distinct fuller, which reduces weight without compromising structural strength. The massive steel crossguard and wheel pommel give the weapon a classic medieval look suitable for a wide time range—from the High Middle Ages to the Renaissance.
The grip is wrapped in black leather for a secure hold. An important technical detail is the assembly: the blade tang passes through the entire handle and is double-screwed at the end of the pommel. This allows you to easily tighten the dagger if it becomes loose (a common occurrence in fencing) and keep it in perfect condition.
Practical Use and Safety
The manufacturer labels this dagger as suitable for stage combat. Thanks to the blunt edge and rounded tip, the risk of serious injury from stabbing or cutting is minimized. However, since no warranty is provided against blade breakage during combat, we at Outfit4Events recommend using it sensibly:
- Suitable for: Technique drills, choreographed stage combat (theater, film), as a costume accessory (re-enactment, LARP).
- Less suitable for: Full-contact heavy combat (Buhurt), where extreme stress is placed on the material.
A simple yet functional leather scabbard is included to protect the blade during transport.

Care Instructions
The dagger is made of carbon steel, which means it requires maintenance to prevent rust. Do not leave it in a damp environment. Wipe it dry after every use and oil it lightly (e.g., with WD-40 or gun oil). If the hilt loosens due to vibration, simply tighten the screw/nut on the pommel.
For comfortable carrying, we recommend purchasing a suitable leather belt frog for this dagger.
