Muela Kodiak Hunting Knife – Stag Antler – Alpaca Bolster
A Legendary Workhorse in Luxury Attire
The Kodiak is designed as a universal "one-tool-option." Its blade length of 100 mm (approx. 3.9 inches) is just right for precise work (gutting, skinning) but robust enough for rougher handling. The Full-Tang construction (the blade runs through the entire handle) ensures maximum strength. The blade material is proven stainless steel with Molybdenum and Vanadium (MoVa), characterized by excellent cutting performance and easy maintenance.
What gives this model a touch of exclusivity is the handle. The scales are made of select stag antler, the rough texture of which ensures a firm grip even with wet palms. Each knife is an original thanks to the unique grain of the antler. The transition between the blade and handle features an elegant bolster made of polished alpaca alloy (nickel silver), which protects your fingers from slipping onto the edge. A brass-lined lanyard hole is located at the end of the handle.
You will receive the knife in a high-quality brown cowhide sheath with an embossed Muela logo, which securely holds the knife.

Care for Natural Materials
Stag antler is a natural material that deserves care. Always clean and dry the blade after use. It is advisable to occasionally treat the handle with special oil or wax to maintain its appearance and prevent it from drying out. Attention! Never wash the knife in a dishwasher and do not expose it to extreme temperatures for long periods (e.g., behind a car window), as this could damage the antler or the leather sheath.
Safety Warning
The knife is delivered very sharp. Although it is a robust tool, it is not intended for prying (e.g., opening crates) or throwing. Do not chop through bones when field dressing; separate them at the joints. Use it responsibly to avoid injury.
