"Red & White" Samurai Sword Set (3 Swords + Stand)
Design Inspired by the Land of the Rising Sun
The scabbards (saya) of all three swords are made of wood and lacquered in white. They are decorated with black calligraphy (characters) and a red sun motif featuring a warrior's silhouette. The handles are covered with imitation ray skin and distinctly wrapped with red cotton ribbon, which matches the ribbon (sageo) on the scabbard. A distinctive feature is the square chrome guard (tsuba) with a detailed relief of a Japanese dragon, adding a mythological touch to the swords.
Material and Features
The blades are made of carbon steel. Although they have a suggested temper line (hamon), this is a decorative finish. The edge is not sharpened like a razor, but it is not completely blunt either—the swords command respect. Since the steel is not stainless, the blades need to be regularly treated with oil to retain their shine.

Usage
This set is intended exclusively for decorative purposes. The construction of the swords is not adapted for cutting (tameshigiri) or contact fencing. They serve for display on the included stand, which holds all three weapons one above the other, creating an impressive centerpiece.
