Since organic materials (wood and genuine bone) are used to craft the handle, you must never wash the knife in a dishwasher, expose it to extreme heat near a fire, or leave it soaking in water. Doing so would irreversibly ruin the product. After use, rinse the 420 stainless steel blade, dry it thoroughly, and store it in the decorated leather sheath. We recommend rubbing the bone and wood with beeswax or linseed oil from time to time to help them maintain their integrity and beautiful shine.
