This archery arm guard has been designed with an emphasis on practicality and comfort. The conical shape perfectly follows the anatomy of the forearm, ensuring the guard sits firmly in place and doesn't slip, even during rapid movement. It is fastened with two robust leather straps fitted with stylish brass buckles. These allow you to easily and quickly adjust the bracer for a precise fit on your arm.

Arm guards, also known as bracers, have been used by archers across many cultures and historical periods since antiquity. Their function was twofold: they protected the bow-holding arm from the string and also prevented loose clothing sleeves from getting tangled in the bowstring at the critical moment of release. This simple design is inspired by the practical and functional guards that would have been found on common soldiers, hunters, or foresters in medieval Europe.
Choosing the Correct Version
When making your choice, remember the basic rule: the bracer is worn on the arm that holds the bow. Therefore, if you are right-handed and hold the bow in your left hand, you should order the version for the left arm. If you are left-handed and hold the bow in your right hand, choose the version for the right arm. The bracer is sold as a single piece.
