How to Care for the Mug
To ensure this magical artefact stays looking like new for a long time, please follow these rules:
- Washing: Wash the mug by hand only using a soft sponge and mild detergent. Never put it in the dishwasher! Aggressive chemicals and high temperatures could damage the hand-painting and weaken the bond between the resin and steel.
- Heating: Do not put the mug in the microwave. Stainless steel is not safe for microwaves, and the resin could crack.
- Maintenance: Simply wipe the outer part with a damp cloth.
Warnings
Although the interior is made of stainless steel, the outer shell is decorative. Protect the mug from drops on hard floors; polyresin is more brittle than ceramic, and details (such as the moon handle) could break off.
