How to Use Your Baldric

Thanks to the clever strap system, drawing a one-handed or most one-and-a-half-handed swords is surprisingly smooth and fast. The scabbard is designed for easy access to your weapon when you need it most. However, please note that using it with longer swords, such as two-handers or greatswords, would significantly restrict your movement and the practicality of the draw. The extensive adjustability of the straps allows you to fit the baldric perfectly to your build for maximum comfort.

Soldiers and warriors almost exclusively wore their swords on a belt at their hip. The reason was simple: practicality. Drawing a long blade from a scabbard on your back is complicated and slow, especially in the heat of battle. A hip-slung baldric allowed for a quick and instinctive draw.
