Winchester Mare's Leg Rifle, 55 cm, Brass Fittings, Replica

Replica of Mare's Leg, a short Model 1892 Winchester lever-action repeating rifle used by bounty hunter Josh Randall, Steve McQueen's character on the TV-Series Wanted: Dead or Alive (1958-1961), and hence also known as a Winchester Randall or Randall Special. The term Mare's Leg has since then become a generic name for Winchester carbines with a shortened barrel and butt stock. This customized, compact variant was popular among the bounty hunters of the Wild West, as it could be carried concealed on a leg holster and used one-handed.

This reproduction of this iconic Western weapon has a stock made of resin (imitation wood) and brass fittings that beautifully contrast with the blackened barrel. It can be cocked and triggered, and is equipped with a functional repeating lever.

This firearm replicas are solely intended for re-enactment and decorative purposes. Although the mechanism is fully articulated, this reproduction is not capable of firing.
