This baldric is designed to securely hold a sword within its own scabbard. The main load-bearing body, 106 cm in length, forms the spine of the entire system. Attached to this is the scabbard holder itself, which features lacing and adjustable straps. This allows you to customize the fit precisely for your weapon's width. The inner opening width for inserting a scabbard or blade is approx. 6.8 cm (approx. 2.7 inches), which accommodates most common European swords.
The chest strap system is designed to prevent the baldric from slipping, keeping it securely in place. The massive brass buckle not only looks great but also allows for quick size adjustment.
