Tactical Blackened Kukri Machete with Lightened Blade and Rubberised Grip

Historical Legacy and Modern Take on the Nepalese Knife

The characteristically curved kukri (or khukuri) knife was made famous primarily by the feared Nepalese Gurkha warriors serving in the British Army. The specific blade shape, with its centre of gravity shifted far forward, functions on the principle of an axe, imparting enormous kinetic energy to every swing. Throughout history, the kukri served not only as a deadly close-quarters weapon but also as an absolutely indispensable agricultural tool. This modern outdoor model adopts the proven geometry of the original but utilises the advantages of tough 420 stainless steel with a matte black finish, which prevents unwanted reflections and gives the weapon a purely tactical appearance.

Safe Handling and Proper Maintenance

From the factory, the machete is equipped with a very sharp blade. For safety reasons, we strongly warn you that this tool is primarily intended for work and outdoor activities. Under no circumstances is it a weapon for contact fencing, martial arts training against a live opponent, or for use in LARP or stage battles. When chopping branches, always ensure a solid stance and make sure there is no one else within the reach of your swing.

Although stainless steel is highly resistant to corrosion, it still deserves your care. After returning from the field, clean the machete of wood residue and sap with a damp cloth, dry it carefully, and lightly coat the blade with gun oil. The rubberised handle requires no special maintenance, but never place the tool in a dishwasher; aggressive cleaning agents could irreversibly damage the plastic parts and the matte blackening of the blade. Keep the edge in top condition using a suitable sharpening stone.

With this outstanding machete, we recommend purchasing a high-quality pocket sharpening stone to revive the edge directly in the field, as well as a sturdy canteen to maintain hydration during heavy work in the woods.
