Easy and Reliable Installation

The latch consists of two parts: the body with the swing arm and the catch. For maximum reliability, we recommend the appropriate installation method for each material.

Mounting on Leather (Recommended):

For attaching to clothing, corsets, or bags, the best option is to use rivets (with a diameter of about 4 mm). Mark the hole positions, punch the holes in the leather, and rivet both parts firmly. This will create a joint that can withstand significant tension.

Mounting on Wood:

If you are installing the latch on a chest or box, you can use suitable screws. To prevent the wood from splitting, we recommend pre-drilling small pilot holes.

Please note: Mounting hardware (neither screws nor rivets) is included in the package. You will need to select the appropriate type based on the thickness and nature of your project's material.
