Viking round shield with steel stripe 76cm

The sturdy Viking round shield is robust enough to be used in stage fencing and re-enactment. Its base plate is made from solid plywood. To increase the durability of the edge, the shield edge is reinforced at the front with a metal hoop consisting of 8 1.2 mm thick pieces. A metal boss made of 1.6 mm thick material is attached to the front. Two horizontal metal strips, which copy the position of the arm behind the shield, partially protect the front part of the shield, but have more of a decorative function.
