Mountain Pass Surveyor Knife | Condor | Micarta Handle
Unique Blade for Versatile Performance
The blade shape immediately catches the eye. It resembles a hybrid between a cleaver and a modified sheepsfoot design. Thanks to the significant belly on the edge, the knife is excellent for food preparation in a field kitchen, yet it has enough forward weight for effective light chopping. The blade is made from proven 440C stainless steel. This offers great corrosion resistance—essential for wet mountain environments—and is easy to sharpen in the field. The Condor Classic finish gives the knife a rustic, hand-forged look that hides scratches well.
Reliable Grip and Build
The knife features a Full-Tang construction, meaning the steel runs the entire length of the handle, ensuring maximum durability. The handle scales are made of tan Micarta. This composite material is extremely durable, feels warm to the touch, and most importantly, provides excellent grip even when wet. The scales are secured by three sturdy rivets, and a lanyard hole at the pommel allows for extra security.
