In the age of the samurai, the katana and wakizashi formed a set known as the daisho (literally "big and small"), which was a symbol of their status. The wakizashi served as a sidearm, for combat in confined spaces, and for personal defence. The Honshu Boshin Wakizashi brings this concept into the present day. Its compact size and lower weight make it an incredibly fast and agile weapon, ideal for situations where a longer sword would be a hindrance. Combined with the Boshin Katana, it forms a visually and functionally perfect pair.

- Blade: The sharp, 57 cm blade is crafted from tough 1060 carbon steel. Its satin finish not only looks superb but is also less prone to showing minor scratches and fingerprints.

Sword Care
