- Back of the Hand: The outer side is crafted from a durable black fabric (a linen and cotton blend) with thick, horizontally quilted foam pads. This layer, nearly 1 cm thick, excels at absorbing and distributing the energy from impacts.
- Palm: The inner, palm-side is made from a brown, double-layered fabric that is intentionally unpadded. This allows for a firm, secure grip on your sword, axe, or other instrument of destruction.
- Thumb: A separately stitched and padded thumb provides necessary protection while allowing for basic dexterity.
Versatile Combat Use

A steel gauntlet might stop a blade, but without an inner padded layer, a blow from a mace or hammer could still easily break the bones in the hand.
