Robust and Functional Design
The foundation of this frog is thick buff leather (3-3.3 mm), ensuring exceptional strength and longevity. All joints are reinforced with antiqued brass rivets that not only look great but, most importantly, hold strong. The main part that holds the scabbard is equipped with a leather thong. This lacing allows you to perfectly adjust the size of the holder to the width and shape of your scabbard, ensuring the sword remains secure and doesn't wobble. A metal D-ring and a buckled strap then allow you to adjust the angle at which the sword hangs for maximum comfort.
How to Use the Frog Correctly
Properly securing your sword is key for both comfort and a quick draw. Follow these steps:
- Slide your belt (up to 5 cm / 2 inches wide) through both leather loops at the top of the frog.
- Loosen the leather thong on the main holder and insert your sword's scabbard.
- Tighten the lacing securely and tie it with a knot so the scabbard sits firmly in the frog.
- Use the buckled strap to adjust the angle at which you want to carry the sword. Tightening it will pull the sword closer to your leg, reducing its swing while walking.
For Right & Left-Handers, in Brown & Black

- Right-Handed Version: Designed to be worn on the left hip, for a comfortable draw with the right hand.
- Left-Handed Version: Designed to be worn on the right hip, for a comfortable draw with the left hand.
Additionally, both of these versions are available in classic brown and versatile black.
Leather Care
To ensure this leather accessory serves you for as long as possible, protect it from prolonged exposure to moisture. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after use. For stains, use a slightly damp cloth and mild soap; avoid harsh chemicals. Occasionally treat the leather with a leather conditioner to maintain its suppleness and shine.
