The dominant feature of the knife is the blade made of 440A stainless steel, featuring a two-tone finish (a combination of black and satin steel). The edge is partially serrated, which is a key feature for rescue knives – the serrations handle fibrous materials like ropes, straps, or heavy clothing much better. The knife is equipped with a spring-assisted mechanism. Simply flick the flipper on the spine or use the thumb stud, and the knife snaps open immediately into the locked position. There, the blade is secured by a sturdy Linerlock. The flipper also acts as a finger guard when open.
Tools That Save Lives
The handle is made of light metal (aluminium alloy) in a grey-orange combination. Its shaping is ergonomic and fits perfectly in the hand. Two vital elements are integrated into the rear of the handle:
- Seatbelt Cutter: A sharp blade recessed in the hook on the spine of the handle. It is designed so that there is no risk of injury to the palm during normal grip, but it reliably slices through jammed seatbelts when needed.

Safety and Maintenance
Keep in mind that the spring-assisted opening is very fast and forceful. Ensure you have safe space around you when opening. Keep the lock and pivot mechanism clean, occasionally blow them out with compressed air (especially if you carry the knife in your pocket where dust gathers) and lubricate with a drop of oil. The knife is equipped with a belt clip so you can have it at hand at all times.
