Uncompromising Design and Materials
The blade of this knife is made of 440A stainless steel. This steel is popular for its high resistance to corrosion and ease of sharpening, which you will certainly appreciate in the field. The entire blade is also treated with a grey titanium coating, which increases its wear resistance and gives it a matte, tactical look without unwanted reflections. The blade shape is slightly curved with an aggressive point reminiscent of the American Tanto style, guaranteeing excellent penetration properties as well as cutting performance.
Opening is handled via a flipper mechanism. Simply press down on the protrusion on the spine with your index finger, and the blade snaps open instantly. Once open, the flipper serves as a reliable guard, protecting your fingers from slipping onto the edge. The blade is secured in the open position by a sturdy Liner Lock, so you don't have to worry about the knife closing during work.
Ergonomics and Style
The handle is made of a light metal alloy, which also features a titanium finish. To ensure the knife doesn't slip and looks exclusive, the handle is fitted with decorative inlays made of genuine carbon fibre. Despite the "light metal" description, the knife feels substantial due to its robust construction, contributing to a secure grip during forceful cutting. Maintenance and Care
To ensure the Bulldozer knife serves you for as long as possible, keep it clean. After each use, especially in damp or dirty environments, wipe the knife and dry it. Occasionally blow out the flipper and lock mechanism with compressed air to remove pocket lint, and apply a drop of knife oil to the pivot. 440A steel is easy to sharpen; for routine edge maintenance, a pocket sharpener or sharpening steel will suffice.
I recommend purchasing a quality belt pouch for the knife if you prefer carrying it outside your pocket, as given the knife's heavier weight, this might be a more comfortable option.
